So.....I honed my razor for a while and gota 3rd of it HHT worthy.....and the other 2/3 pretty Damn close. StArted a thread about it....got in a fight with a guy and called him a name in the process for attacking me, albeit nicely, an attack all the same....and had my thread closed down and a warning sent to me. LOL I definitely learned to keep my HHT adventures to my self. WOW people got Aggressive.
Oh, yes, The Vow,
...to only shave with a straight razor from now on; if I can't shave with a straight razor I won't shave...
Made on the 6th of June 2011 to my 13 year old son.
I had a Bic disposable in the glove box of my car; for those moments where I check myself in the mirror on the way to work (just to see how cool I like in these particular Ray Bans as the morning golden sunlight hits them with 'The Brian Jonestown Massace' playing in the background) and notice an uneven line around my beard. However, it's not been used since the 6th; even when I saw that the line around my chin was indeed uneven. I thought, "That will teach me to do it better tomorrow, I won't give in...". Weird, I know, and luckily I don't have a thick dark beard; so not shaving for a day is hardly noticeable.
It sort of links with giving up smoking at the beginning of the year. My three and a half year old grandson was diagnosed with bone cancer 12 weeks ago (Ewing's Sarcoma), so that's reminded me of one's health and also valuing the little things in life; like appreciating learning a new and difficult thing like shaving with a straight razor...
