Any tips for along the jawline?

I've shaved about 10 times now using a straight, and I'm starting to get pretty decent shaves on the sides of my face! One problem area I have (and one of the most annoying!) is right along and under the jawline. I have a very defined jaw, which is giving me all sorts of problems. Can anyone help me?

I pull the skin up onto my cheek, so it's flat when I shave. Then when I move to the neck, I pull it down so it's flat again. Never have to shave the actual jawline that way. Also map your beard growth, may need to go east west rather than north south.

yes I do exactly the same about the pulling, 1st few times I did try the actual jawline cut my self, no more shaving the jawline direction

Yep what they said, put some alum on your fingers and place your fingers 2" above your jawline and yank that skin up,and now shave that area east to west. By yanking that skin up,your getting that tough area above your jawline so that it can easily be shaved.

Stretch your skin and find the direction that works best. A light touch and the proper angle. You'll get the hang of it.
