FYI, this is my second fromm. The first one I purchased showed signs of warp so I contacted the guy and he sent me another new one. Now this one too is showing signs of warp. I'm guessing it's something I'm doing. It can happen that a batch is like that & may not be your honing.
If you search youtube for "toxikwaste straight razor" this is the buy i'm trying to emulate. If someone has a few minutes would it be possible to watch bits and pieces of his videos and tell me what he's doing that I might not want to do. He's shown the sharpest razors I've ever seen and since I'm teaching myself I'm trying to follow him. If you learn by watching, watch lots of guys honing videos & look for underlying principles rather than specific technique. It does take a little time
p.s. I flatten my stones before every session. Is that advised? A quick lap never hurts
