First Post, i need a sharpening service

I am just starting out and will be learning from a family friend who knows how to shave. But he doesn't have his gear anymore and told me to find a sharpening service online because he doesn't have the stones to get these back in shape. I was wondering if anyone knew a good low priced company that would do this for me. I still need to get the strop and brush. Thank you for any help.

These are razors i picked up at a yard sale of a family friend who passed away.

Oh and do plan on moving up to a better brand in a year or so once i get better. After looking around online and this website I figure I should get a Dovo or a TI (may not be the right name). Also I know to avoid blades from Pakistan and China and should stick with USA, Europe or Japan.

Well I do not know the first blade, but the Bengall will make for a great shaver once honed. Just because a Dovo or Ti is new does not make it a better razor than some of the vintage blades.

it was some mail order brand from the early 1920s from Philly. You could get anything from this hardware company. You cant see it in this photo but the scale of the Bengal has a chip in it but doesn't reach 1/4th of the width. So it should still be usable.

A chipped scale is just an excuse to hand craft something from a nice exotic wood or horn.
