I got my razors back from Lynn today. He did a great job cleaning them up. Both were quite sharp. I tried shaving today with the sharper of the 2 razors (the Bengall). This one easily cut dry arm hair where as the cheaper junk razor (The Barbers Choice 165) took a little pressure and thus I trusted the other one with my 1st shave. I should have waited till I needed a shower so that I could make sure the hairs were softened by the hot water and soap. I just patted my face with a hot wet rag. after shaving the first side I decided F' IT and did my whole face. I nicked a zit and two little bumps thats on my right side (which i always nick even with my Mach 3) so i didnt fault the razor for this. The neck was actually the easiest for me to shave. the problems came with my left side. I couldnt get my left hand to stop shaking so I used my right. Didnt have any nicks till i went to shave around my goatee. I forgot to pull the skin tight and left a 1 cm paper cut on my left cheek. I decided to go back over with my Mach 3 to see how much i missed. To my shock i didnt miss much (besides that closest to my goatee). You can still see a sort of 5' o'clock shadow but this is just because my hair is so thick that it is always like this unless i put alot of pressure on a razor, and this razor i dont want to try that with. Overall besides some irritation where i tried using the Barbers Choice i am quite happy with my first time.
