Just did a full first pass WTG (I'm going to consider it as such at least :)). It actually felt great, much smoother than I had imagined it would be. And I was much more comfortable with my left than I thought I was going to be as well. I need to work on my lather though, it's very airy and dries up quickly. I'm using Williams, which I know isn't the best, but I know it works. I'll get it soon enough. Thanks again!
Everything will fall into place with just a bit of practice! A drop or so of glycerin may not hurt.
Welcome to the club I've been shaving with a straight for two years now and still manage to get a dry lather from time to time it all comes with experience and a bit of practice. Well done on the shave though :)
