Thread: About a month in... Breakthrough today! :)

So last time I got a nick under my lower lip. Came to realize, I didn't strop before that last shave! So today I took extra care. And the results!? AWESOME!

I did 3 passes today with a day's worth of growth on my face. Got the closest shave I'd had thus far! And I ALMOST went for a 4th pass, it felt so comfortable and relaxing!

But... I stopped after the third pass. Really, I'm not about to go ATG, so this was good enough. Can't wait to shave again tomorrow!

1. Stropped 40 times on webbing then on leather.
2. Showered with hot water (of course) and washed face with shaving cream.
3. At the mirror, spread the shaving cream on my face, then used my brush to lather it up.
4. Proceed with shave. LIGHT touch.
5. Chin: the new part... went diagonally and that worked our GREAT!
6. Neck: Stuck with the direction of grain grown first pass... then agains on third pass.

Okay, so I know I have to keep being careful. But things went SO smoothly this morning, I know it must get better and better!

I'm still new enough that those shaves are rare, but they are wonderful aren't they?

Waiting 3 days for me feels better and smother than waiting less
