I think there's a few here that do. I am one of them. It's going to depend on your hair really. For me, I find my hair is really hard on a razor so I will need to strop at least once mid-shave to keep things going. I've also taken to using harder steel razors like a Friodur which keeps an edge longer for me.
Some here don't have as much of a problem though, so it really depends on how much hair you have up there and how coarse it is.
I tried a few days ago and my hair is so thick and course that I ended up stroping about 3 times before pulling out a cartrage razor and just finishing that way
I've done it a few times but find that I have trouble getting my angles right for more than one pass.
Trying to get things sorted for going across the path of my first pass ends up with a few too many nicks for my liking.
Does seem to be a bit harder on the razor (with my hair anyway) so I use my heaviest blade for a smoother shave.
If you do a site search you should find some more discussion on head shaving and even some video clips.
Have just purchased my first (2nd hand) DE so looking forward to trying that as an alternative to the cartridge.
I also have been shaving my head with a straight for about four years and I prefer it over the head blade which I use while traveling
i do, its the same as comb your hair.... easy
Every Sunday. The movements and positioning of the razor are a bit different than the ones you're used to from shaving your face but once you do it a couple times, it's very easy.
