2 full face shaves in

had my second full face WTG shave tonight, and while it was successful in terms of being still in tact and have less beard, im struggling with the chin angles and the blade on my face doesnt feel as slippy(?) or lubricated as i would imagine it should be.
i guess that the chin will be a hard area to shave and i will pick it up eventually, but about the lubrication... is it a problem with my lather, with my soap, or my prep? i use a hot towel, followed by palmolive shave stick, then use my rung out brush thats been soaked in hot water to lather the soap film up on my face. that might not be enough to go on, but if it is do you have any advice?
