I delayed my evening shave due to an impromptu pint or 3 at the local house of refreshment.
I've had a go this morning and really took my time about things. I had to re-lather 4 times!
What I found was my angle had been too shallow. I think this is where the pressure issue arose.
30 degrees (or there abouts) is steeper than I realised. I employed a protractor to see :D
As a result I've done a one pass shave with touch ups and have a decently smooth face, a much smoother neck and no razor burn. I didn't even need my trusty styptic pencil!
The different stretching techniques for the neck really paid dividends, I was even able to shave the Adam's apple area without discomfort.
I know I've a way to go yet before its every shave like this but I'm as happy as a happy thing right now.
