Beginner Straight Razor

What is a good beginner straight razor?

a plain ol dovo best quality. you get good bang for ur buck and it's a great razor.

I think they come in either 5/8 or 6/8 and you can probably get them for around 100 dollars, prehoned and ready to go! in my opinion go with the bigger one.

here I looked it up for you 85 dollars at straight razor designs and theyre the best. their customer service is unbeatable and their shipping is extremely quick

I am also just starting with a straight razor. A dovo is what I am using. I find the 6/8 size is nice, not too big or too small. A round point gives me more confidence. The most important thing is that the razor is honed properly and correctly sharp. There are so many variables in learning to shave with a straight razor, I think it is most important, to at least have a properly sharp razor. I sent mine off to be professionally honed.
