So about 4 shaves in and loving it, only issue besides hand lathering ATM is when I get to my neck, specifically around the sides of my trachea where my jugular is. I'm pretty lean and I can't find a workable angle and it results in multiple passes and some irritation. Any tips or is it just more time working and getting comfortable?
More lather, rinse blade with cold water, make sure you are stretching your skin nice and tight so hairs are trying to pop up.
Well getting comfortable has a lot to do with it, if you get irritation multiple passed wont work so you have to get it with one or two passes. Good prep and good lather goes a long way, with 4 shaves in i woundnt worry about it to much, skin streching and coming in at a different angle when you get comfortable will more then likely solve your problem. Watching videos of others shaving it also a good thing as well. Personally i do 1 1/2 pass on the neck with scything motion if i go more i get iritation so hang in there.
Mapping your facial hair especially your neck will tell you witch way your hair is growing. That way you can stretch to raise the whiskers properly.

Yes, keep watching different videos to get ideas. And, patience and practice does have a ton to do with it. I had trouble with my neck at first and now it's easy. The chin is the toughest part for me still, but I know I'll get that shave like my DE eventually with patience and practice. Getting ideas from the vids can really help too - watch a bunch of different styles to figure out your own.
As nice as it is to get that perfect shave, when starting out I'd advise to aim more for a comfortable shave rather than the perfect shave. Through time that comfortable shave will turn into the perfect shave, just enjoy the learning curve and experiment with stubborn areas when you're more comfortable and confident with the razor.

When I started straight shaving, I still used my disposable for a while, to shave the areas that were too difficult to manage until I got a whole lot of technique down. My neck and adam's apple were the last region to fall.
If you get into the market for another blade, watch for one with a good smile and a rounded tip. Those are very helpful features when you need to navigate into and around hollows.
Just go slow.
