It cost some but this is what here is considered a standard set up, at least that's what I got from Lynn's DVD.
Then start honing and, with a little sense of what you're doing, you will get results.
Somewhat messing it up the first time is what I did of course too.
When desparate for success you can allways send you rasor to Lynn or Maximilian or some of the other vendor/honemeisters here through SRP. It will set you back a few dollars plus shipping but then you get a killer edge and can compare for future hone sessions of your own.
Sorry, I would't want to hone for others; I am not that confident to not mess up someone elses blade.

I'm still here. I just don't post much anymore. He's more than welcome to come by sometime. As long as the razor isn't too dull I'd gladly help him out....just realised that I also have diamond stones nowadays to set the bevel....so even if it's too dull I'd still be able to help out.Quote:
