Just what is needed, another solution to a non existent problem.

Yeah I went to an AOS store last week and they had this on display like it was the queens jewels. I asked they lady working there to try and sell it to me, she said that the vibrating motion would get the cream in my beard better. I said that the simple act of brushing on the cream does that which I would still have to do electric or not. Once she found out I wasn't some hipster kid ogling over exotics things she finally admitted that its just a way to get money. A page out of the gillette mach 3 book.
If it was $20 it would make a funny joke present, but at $175 it's just a joke. When the motor burns out, or the switch poops itself, I wonder how many owners would "go manual" and how many would throw out a perfectly good non electric brush :)
Muricans and their power tools!
My wife has been asking me to get one. I can't figure out why she is so suddenly concerned about the quality of my shaves. She never seemed to care before she saw this brush in AOS.
Wow. I wanna buy it just to see the cool blue light.
I took me a while to get this. Call me dense.
When i started getting into SR shaving i went to the art of shaving for the first time and thought it was ok. After knowing what i know now i would never shop there, that place is an over priced joke. I mean $50 for a puck of shave soap, it better be the best soap in the world and sing to me well i shave! How come no one has opened a shop for shaving that is reasonable cost and only carries mom and pop shop hand made items? Places like the art of shaving are not helping us spread the good word about shaving.
I really hope one of these brushes dosent end up in my stocking this Christmas.
**Should I reply to this thread to show my disgust or should I not reply to show my disgust... maybe I will show my thought process in a reply about my disgust**
These guys are going to put the brushmaker's alcove out of business!
I am thinking of mounting my brush to my Dewalt drill and save the money. That's just a big waste of cash.
the R & D department should be shot! Although I think a built in light on a straight would be sweet........not!
how about inclinometer for newb's? built in tweezers? edge analyser for shave ready-ness.....hmmmm? Or something useful like a shave ready tail with included safety cover, for trimming up those pesky nose hairs because that 5/8 just won't fit
Getting back to the brush - maybe if it loaded itself up with shave soap, and built a lather, does it burn extra calories?
I like the idea, going to make one only solar powered:)
Also when you offset it make sure you increase the dihedrals so it will have more lift and maneuverability.
Does anyone know anyone that makes 600mm knot so I can attach it to my buffer? I think with this I can just dip my face into the brush and go blind.
....yeaaa I took that to a morbid place and I would like to apologize. I think I need some sleep. lol
