Does it get any cheaper than a scrap piece of copper wire found in an old lamp my father gave me for my basement, stuck into a hole the previous owners of the house drilled into the bathroom cabinet?

I have some equally cheap razor stands, but mine are painted blue - with free spraypaint. I am well over my data limit, and I don't have a picture handy or I would post one, maybe in a week or so...
I have 2, made of wire coat hanger that I've bent into a stand. It works well, but looks like garbage. They were suppose to be temporary until I made some half decent ones. I've had the one for over a year now.
Whatever works right! :)
HARRYWALLY wins, coat hangers are cheaper than copper wire. Lol
Aw dammit.
Dangit... just paid $2 for a plastic one
I think I win. I get good wire from my son's shop when he isn't looking.:rofl2:
You're talking to a metal moron, I think it was brass/bronze brazing rods.
A guys got to do what a guys got to do. I am still driving a beater car that I paid 50 dollars for. So far I have added 60k miles to it. It has 240k on it now. Still plan on driving it till it quits. I plan on grabbing my umbrella and walking away from it when it belly's up. Yes the umbrella is worth more than the car is.
Now that is cheap my friend!!

Oh, it looks real cheap! It's the painted white kind, so at all my bends its cracked. I really need to make a pretty one.

And by pretty I mean out of some fancy wood. :)
Sorry for being off topic.
When I was stationed in Okinawa, I bought a Toyota Corona for $1.00. It had old t-shirts for seat covers. I certainly didn't add anything close to 60k miles, but I drove it for 2 years, and sold it for $100 when I left.
NOW THAT'S CHEAP!
I must admit the O.Ps brush holder is real hokey, but it works.:)
This cost me 3 bux from home depot. You can twist it into whatever shape you want.Attachment 163712Attachment 163713
Unless the brush doesn't have a flat bottom, the cheapest brush stand is said flat bottom. Capillary action (SP?) dries it so no matter which way it swings, it dries. More important is rinsing (and occasional washing) than the orientation of the bottom ..
Just my experience, but repeated elsewhere
I use a deodorant can lid.... The brush just sits in it on the handle.
