My New Ray/Walleyeman Brush!
Hi All-I came home from the Asheville meetup with one of our own Ray/Walleyeman's custom brushes, this one in the brass/camo design.

As you can see, the earth-tone camo works perfectly with the mirror-polished brass. If I remember Ray correctly, it is a 24mm Silvertip knot(which has bloomed quite nicely since this picture was taken, and after a couple of shaves). And with the solid brass, it is amazingly heavy-you could use this thing as a murder weapon! I will need to learn to use a real brush like this; as I told Ray, my only brush so far has been a Tweezerman. This one is a step up in luxury, and will no doubt give me many years of shaving pleasure. Honestly, I had never really fallen victim to BAD (Brush Acquisition Disorder) until I saw Ray's brushes, and I just had to have one. I just love and appreciate fine craftsmanship and artistry, and this brush embodies that beautifully.
As most of you know, Ray is a gentleman and an artist, and I am awed and humbled that I was lucky enough to receive one of his splendid brushes. Here are a few more pics of my new baby:
