my tgn/burma shave brush

I got tired of my vdh boar and decided I wanted to try a badger brush. Looking around I found pricing more than I wanted to pay for something I might not like. So I found the gold nib and decide to mak my own. My dad used an old red and white eveready brush so thats what I wanted, but finding a decent handle became difficult. Then at discount drugmart I found the burma brush, 5 bucks and I had a handle. While removing the knot I chipped it so I sanded and tried to correct it. What I ended up with was a 26mm hole not perfect but not bad. Got a 24mm extra dense finest two band knot and behold my masterpiece.Attachment 175594

Very nice! I have a handle just like that, and I've been meaning to do something with it. What loft did you leave it at?

It was 50mm its great at face lathering
