Plisson synthetic brush initial impressions
I bought a Plisson synthetic shave brush at a L;Occitane en Provence outlet and pictured here http://straightrazorpalace.com/shave...ml#post1397698 . I have use it about 6 times for face lathering only.
This brush feels extremely soft on the face and splays easily for face lathering but leaves me feeling that I am not really exfoliating when using circular strokes face lathering. I personally would prefer something with a little more backbone to get a little scrubbier feeling on the face.
The brush easily produced a good lather face lathering from Cade Rich shave cream which is all I have used with it. If it runs true to form of the rest of the synthetics I have used, it should easily lather any cream, croap and hard soap as well.
I am thinking this would be a good brush for people with sensitive skin who would normally like a soft tipped slightly floppy silver tip badger brush. It probably would make a fine bowl lathering brush too where you are basically whisking up a lather and painting it on.
A very decent brush if you want the characteristics it has to offer.
