My omega brush had collected some water inside its acrylic handle.
 Must I wait until it vapors, or just drill a hole to drain and plug it with wax?

Is there enough room in it to sustain a baby goldfish?
Nope, just for half dozen mosquito larvae, unfortunately. XD
Well if you go through all the trouble of getting it out , how do you then keep it out ? Sounds like some defect in assembly.
Yep... I know. Maybe I must just open a hole at its bottom, take the water out and fulfill the cavity with something like epoxy. I just do not know from where the water came in, if from the sides of the knot or from the suture between the upper (black plastic) and lower parts of handle (acrylic).
If you really like it, cut the handle apart and save the boar. Order an appropriate sized replacement handle from the golden nib.
Maybe find a colored fill / epoxy, that will keep out the water & add to the looks,,,
Probably if it's leaking water in it will happen again. it's probably time for a new handle if not a new brush.
Hang it upside down, last I checked, water runs downhill
