    Default Standard Size Brush?

Hello I have been wanting to get a brush stand for some time, I have a 24mm knot. The stand I want is for "standard" size brushes. Could someone shed some light on the "standard size"? It would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Scott,
I assume you mean the plastic brush drip stands. These come in various sizes, and I have seen them on some shaving sites described as SMALL, MEDIUM AND LARGE. Some vendors also note what size brushes fit in a specific stand.

Yes the plastic ones, It's a Taylor Of Old Bond Street. I like the look of it it just doesn't specify what size knot it is made for. Instead they use the phrase... fits standard size shaving brushes. On some sites I see a standard brush size is 20-21mm, then on other sites it's 24-26mm. I could just use a rotary tool and fix it if it isn't a correct fit. It's just easier to get the right size. Would it be safe to assume standard means medium?

Normally you do not hang the brush on the knot,if the brush has a grip ring, measure it and use the site I posted above,Good luck.

    Scott,
I would assume standard fits brushes with knots of 24-26mm.
