It is on the smaller side, but over all looks like a very nice brush. I really like the black and white ebony. As long as the wood has been properly sealed, it should be just fine.

As far as the badger goes every brush, even from the well know brush makers is a little different so you just have to find which maker makes the type you prefer. I have three brushes made by Matt and they are all very fine brushes well woth the money. I would certainly go for the one your looking at. For that price you can't go wrong.
