Thread: Good brush for leg shaving?

So my wife has discovered my soaps and my extra brush (latherwhip badger) and I'm showing her some tips on making lather. I'd like to get her a brush of her own and was wondering if any leg shavers out there have a favorite. I tend to use 22-24 mm knot sizes, so maybe a bigger knot would work better for her? I suspect this is going to be a "depends on what you want" kind of a thing, but I figure it can't hurt to ask Might be some hidden leg shaving secrets floating out there

Surely not a leg shaver but, i bet a 30mm synthetic would be to her liking. I have one and love the feel and it huge for more coverage. On my face.

Probably for legs you would want something with some backbone to it. A nice beefy Boar I think would do.

The Omega I just got fits that bill. It's boar and it's almost too big for me.

Yeah, a big Omega boar will do the trick. My wife uses an Omega 48 that was too huge for my face.

I have a 28mm Maggard UHD badger. The knot is huge, has great backbone, is quite soft and hold a massive amount of lather. I would think that is exactly what your wife might like for her legs. I find it a little too large for my face; I wish I had gotten 26mm.

Sounds like a big knot of either boar or synthetic may be the way to go. I'm thinking a synthetic handle since she'll be in the shower. I'll run some of these past her and see what she thinks.

Most large boar brushes are great for leg shaving and they are quite inexpensive such as the Omega Pros and even
Razorock.
A large synthetic, 26mm and greater would work just fine, as well.

I'm a fan of my Semogue boar brush. I'll look into a big boar.
