I have a couple of the BIG one. They are soap hogs, but produce enough lather to do a 4 pass shave with lather to spare.
Can’t beat ‘em given the price IMHO.

I think synthetics have come a long way. The most popular is the Sagrada Familia 24mm
The large brush was presented to me as the Canadian Yaqi distributor
Sorry about the sideways photo
I have been pleasantly surprised at how good the new Synthetics are, I have only tested 4 of them personally all have been good all were 24mm
The SilkSmoke is my personal favorite, but all of them have been very good, and easy care
here ya go :)

Thanks guys, Yaqi it is then!
Yes, you might be referring to the larger barber pole brush. "Hair material : Synthetic Hair Knot Handle material: Resin Brush knot diameter: 30MM(+/-1mm)
Loft size:63MM(+/-1mm)
Handle height: 66MM(+/-1mm)
Widest diameter of the handle: 48MM(+/-1mm)"
Sometimes i don't feel like pre soaking my badgers,..... just wet and load!

For the price you cant go wrong. I think everyone should have a few. I think I have 8.
Forgive me if I'm wrong... But isn't it Pete that loves these synthetic knots and put them in a bunch of his brushes???
Yes, it is hard to beat a modern synthetic brush once you get to know how to lather with them. They will lather anything, are inexpensive and dry the fastest.
