C&E Brushes
Since I'm a newb, and after reading all the positive reviews for the value of this brush I decided to take a visit to the local mall and pick one up. Imagine my surprise when they have changed them by increasing the density of the bristles :tu but also managed to increase the price by 30 CAD to 80$ from what used to be 50$CAD:cen They have also increased the price and density of the others as well.
I'm not sure if this is the case in the states yet, but I sucked it up and paid for it since I went there to get the best brush anyway...and I'm happy since it feels soft but not at all floppy!
Just a notice for anyone who has been looking at C&E recently!

Which C&E brush are you referring to??
-
Probably the EJ Best Badger.. That one used to cost $55+tax

The C&E brush is a good brush and was my first badger brush. Mine went to a friend who I introduced to the DE wetshaving world.
When you get into the $75-$100 USD price range, the Saville Row silver tip brushes are an outstanding value for the price.

I was saying I bought the best badger, but they are bringing in a whole new line for every brush and all the prices have increased...all the old models are selling 70% off if you can still find any in store. They had a super badger with pewter handle for 30$ I decided to buy when I went to another location which makes me feel better for paying 80$ for the new best badger.
For me, unfortunately, 80$ CAD in store is a lot cheaper than 80$ online from the states once shipping, duties and other fees come into play!
