I'm looking for a good travel brush in best or silvertip badger. I like a tulip shape and medium size. It doesn't have to be made for travel, but it must come with a nice case for travel. Suggestions?

Ah. Well, I use the smaller C&E badger as a travel brush, but it didn't come with a case. Although, it is small enough that you could probably use a small makeup bag I guess. But, I'm guessing there must be some purpose made brushes that fit your criteria - someone here will know, for sure.
James.
I'd suggest the Saville Row brushes but I cannot think of one that has a case.
I think Shavemac might have some turnback brushes in a silvertip and bulb shape.
Kyle, you can get travel tubes from Em's place for not much $$. They're large enough to fit your average 21-22mm brushes. I bought one and use one of my Vulfix 405 for travel. The Saville Row 2118 is silvertip and gets rave reviews, but I haven't tried it myself. They make some larger sizes too.

Edit: Found it and ordered one. Thanks! I also ordered this brush from Muehle-Pinsel: http://www.muehle-shaving.com/shop/_...h/1/23/81_H_72. I've admired it for awhile, and though shipping was more than the brush, I also bought some soap and got it all for $45 -- not a bad price if the brush is anywhere near as good as my daily M-P.
I bought a T&H travel brush from ForrestryProf some time back. I can highly recommend it. Not cheap new from T&H though.
If Muhle hasn't shipped your order yet, perhaps you could add their travel tube to your order.
i like the Vulfix turnback myself. however I dont assemble it after I take it out of the tube, I like to keep it small.
Kyle,
I think all the little travel type brushes will work just fine. I bought a stainless steel bodied DOVO brush from Jim Ayars at Vintage Blades before travel season this year and am absolutely tickled pink on how well it generates and applies lather. I flipped a mental coin between the plastic cased turnbacks and this SS O-ringed combo. The SS won and as I mentioned works like a charm, but...I'd have to by one each of all the others to comment on their function. Having SBAD bad, I just may. In the meanwhile the DOVO traveller works like a champ.
best, Bruce
As a followup, I just wanted to say that I received this brush http://www.muehle-shaving.com/shop/_...h/1/23/81_H_72 in the mail yesterday. I ran some soap throught it last night to reduce the badger smell and used it this morning. It's a great little brush at a great price, particularly for those in Europe, for whom postage wouldn't be as large an issue. I love the look and feel of it. Like my other M-P, it's not too soft and produces great lather. I also ordered a cake of the Aloe Vera Oakmoss with Mint soap, which I have used before and has a wonderful fragrance. Despite shipping costs of about $20, I still think I got a good deal.
