Mug for 1910's era
So I'm wondering about what kind of a cup or mug or dish would be time period correct for shaving for the time period around 1915. Preferably what would have been used in a logging camp or any kind of camp. IE Not the usual mug that would have been used inside the house or at the barber shop but something that would have been used out in the woods. Perhaps it is a mug, perhaps it isn't, I'm not sure myself, thats why I'm asking. I need to buy one of whatever it is for this summer though. Any recommendations?

I don't know for sure, but I think a metal camp mug would work quite well. I do have one shaving mug made of tin, I would post a pic but it is packed away from my last move.

I have just bought a rather "manly" mug from a Welsh pottery.
See my post about it.

Check online for re-enactor "suttlers" Civil War or "Mountain Man" suppliers. A soldiers shaving mug commonly used during the Civil War was a rounded tin mug with a square side compartment. Reproductions may still be available.

I couldn't resist looking myself! Made it easy for you, I found one here:
Civil War Tin Shaving Mug
If that's not what you want, I'm sure any tin cup would do.
