new DIY brush stand
so I decided to make a brush stand...
I used a piece of aluminium profile and some sleeving to protect the brush handle...
I also sandblasted the SRP logo on it to give it that little extra coolness :p
Price tag: 0.00$

Any plans for instructions on these so we can all have them? lol How did you do the sandblasting? This gives me ideas for brush holders...

Personally I see no problem witth just one person making one for himself or maybe one or two others, but if you want to start making a lot it might be a good idea to ask the SRP owner(s)
Looks nice btw, much better than those smaller plastic ones you can buy

I'm not planning to make these for other people. I added the logo for a touch of class :) and out of appreciation for the forum.
It actually was a piece of rectangular aluminium tubing were I took of the front, then using a big drill (just above the brush handle diameter) I drilled a hole in the upper part and made incisions towards the end to get the bit of metal out. After using the file on the edges, I placed the cut-open sleeving of an elctric wire around the edges.
For the sandblasting I make a negative cutout of the logo in vinyl (sticker), then I use the sandblast gun on it, and afterwards remove the sticker.
