For about five bucks [Hobby Lobby or Micheals] my wife bought me a n electric candle warmer. Simple and easy. warm lather is GREAT!

I have a simpler idea. Load you brush with lather and as it cools just hit it with some warm water. Hot lather on demand.
You could also leave your mug partially submerged in hot water. Poor man's scuttle...
I've only done this once, but I took my Latte Mug/Shave Bowl, filled with water, nuked it in the microwave till boiling, let it set with brush in it while I wash my face, dump the close-to-boiling water into the sink where it joins some merely hot water, shake out brush, make lather in piping-hot mug. I leave it in partially filled sink where it will stay plenty warm with the added help of the boiling water I just dumped out of my mug.
Your first lather should be plenty warm/hot using this method and the second will be at least warm.
Having said all that, I usually don't go to such extremes----hot tap water works fine this way.
