I am now the very proud owner of a GTP Scuttle and Silver tip badger brush. Some of you may recognise Teddy, the stand and brush hand crafted by Mr Brad Moroni, but you guys can call him Icedog!:bow
I used the scuttle and brush for the first time yesterday and it was divine, seriously! My experience with brushes prior to this was a boar bristle and man can you tell the difference. The brush (one of the sexiest I have seen) has a really good weight to it, you know when you have it in your hand.;) It lathers up beautifully (and Tink, no wet dog smell either!:rofl2:)
The scuttle itself has provided me with some of the best lather I have managed to make, I'm still learning with the whipping up process and as I tend to be a little heavy handed previous lather making attempts came out badly due to me using too much pressure. The ridges were excellent for helping whip up the foam and both were a pure delight to use on my legs.
I can tell I'm getting better at shaving in general as I came away with only 3 nicks on my left leg and one on my right knee, Spike did bump my arm which is why my right knee got it, but that was because we were both shaving in our tiny bathroom at the same time.:D I was also rushing slightly due to trying to get ready to take small person trick or treating.
The set was well worth the money I am really impressed with the whole bundle (Bradzilla you rock!) and of course Spike now wants to try the scuttle out. He has a Badger brush so he can keep his mits off my silver tip, but I may allow him to use the scuttle, hehehehehe.
