Time for a big brush, which one?

Alright then...due to Jim having some great pricing on the Shavemacs and his posting of a shavemac 410 he got my SBAD acting up. Soooo to cure it I need to know...if you were to get a big brush 28mm or larger, which one would you get. Be specific, because I am going to start the process of looking for a cure...:redface:

BTW, I already own a major, Emillion and a Rooney 3/1 in Finest. I PIF a Vulfix and C&E Best.

I have the Kent BK12.

If your in the US, They take off the VAT. After you convert to USD that gives me a price of $121.31. That compares to the best US price I could find of $320.

On to the brush. It a is very dense but soft brush with a 30mm knot. It has a nice massaging action. pure decadence. If you want a stiff scrubby brush. This isn't for you. If you think your face deserves a little pampering, this is for you. It is not a floppy brush and it causes lather to appear almost instantly in you shaving bowl.

I can't use it every day or it would make me late to work.;)

Shavemac. And SRD is having a great sale on them too.

That real buffalo horn one is calling my name. If I had an extra $50 lying around I would definitely buy it. That and I'm afraid I'd damage it somehow. While I'm pretty careful with my razors, I tend to bang my brush around on the shaving bowl a lot.

If you want to go really big, QED had a couple of the Savile Row handle styles in 32mm silvertip knots.

Check out the brushes at SRD. I have a great Stephen's Woodworking 28mm from them. Great brush! :tu

if I had to recommend a 30mm brush I wouldn't. I had a couple and personally I find a big brush to be , well, too big. Too unwieldy and messy and very unnecessary.

I realize it's a personal thing and some love them but not me.

I have to totally agree! I have a 30mm Shavemac and I just don't use it. It looks really nice on my shelf, and, yes, it is very luxurious, but it is just too darn big.
