Knot removal?
I recently purchased a relatively inexpensive brush with a handle that I really, really like, but the brush proved to be almost useless because the bristles are so poor. Is there any way that I can replace the knot? Obviously, the real problem is how to remove the old knot. Has anyone had any experience with this? I would appreciate any advice that anyone can give. Thanks in advance.

Tons of people have done and do it. Get a new knot, probably from Golden Nib. Cut the bristles on the brush as low as you can. Drill it out using a drill press. Epoxy in the new knot.
TA-DA!!! New brush!
