Hi folks,
I have a Semogue 2015 brush - oak handled, gorgeous, soft yet stiff. It's my go-to brush, but the varnish on the handle is cracking, crazing and failing, due to the really hot water that comes out of our hot water tap. I've decided to replace the brush in the New Year with another Semogue silvertip brush (since I love the bristles so much), but it will be one with a plastic handle as I'm hoping that that will withstand the water temperatures better. I'm adding the 1305 boar brush as well (along with a bunch of goodies from the creams and AS selection), but am unsure as to which of the silvertip brushes I want. I'm also unsure as to whether to go for the HD knot versions or the normal density, as I haven't read any reviews from people who have both knots versions of a brush (if anyone does, PLEASE post in here and let me know how they compare).
Product descriptions of the brushes can be found here if people would like to see details.
