I have a Trumpers brush that needs a new knot, I don't want to buy a knot and fix it myself but rather send it to someone to do the job. Any suggestions??

When I needed to have "Frank" (my Sterling-silver-handled shaving brush) re-bristled, I sent it to Bernd, at Shavemac.
"Frank" (alongside "Nora"), in his original boar-bristled glory

I was (and remain) quite pleased with the materials used, the quality of workmanship and attention to detail, and the reasonable costs associated with the repair. I highly recommend him.
Note: "Frank" and "Nora" did not come as a set. I purchased "Frank" from a member on that other shaving forum, and came across "Nora" (tarnished, but with dignity intact) on ebaY. They appear to have been "made for each other", dontcha think?
You could see if Penworks can take care of that for you: Shaving Brushes : Fountain Pen - Antique Pen - Vintage Pen - Fountain Pen Ink - Penworks AZ
The owner is a member here and although he makes custom brushes, you might want to shoot them an email to see if they can help you out.
Why not just contact Trumpers. Then it would still be a Trumpers. If you put another knot in then you have a Frankenbrush.
JBHoren - that's a sweet brush and bowl pair you have.
Englishgent - there are a number of guys who can do that for you. A brushmaker I have used before is Miguel Martinez. Here is his site http://www.customk9gear.com/Shavingbrushes.html
He used to be a member here. Whether he would re knot a brush I dont know, but its worth asking him as he's not far from Florida.
JBHoren, those two are a match made in heaven. If not originally part of them same set, then they must have the same manufacturer.
