Brush with a long handle?

I have been looking for a brush with a 4-6 inch handle for a little while now, can someone point me in the direction of some? Silvertip badger. I haven't really seen anythig other than a custom that fits the bill though. The short brush handle I have slightly irritates my arm when swirling, the longer one would fix that right up.

I do not think that there is any other choice than have one made to your specs. There are no long handled brushes out there to my knowledge.

Now if I were you I would find the design I wanted, and have one of the Custom Brush guys make one, because the bristles will be much better than the Conk one...

Here You go Shavemac - Shavemac Rasierpinsel Nr: 280 speaking from experience this is a very nice long handled brush.

The only problem with the long handled brushes is they tend to be narrow and it's almost impossible to find a holder to fit and they won't stand on end by themselves.

That shavemac posted above looks like it is standing pretty good on end, but I'll figure something out, it has to be better than my current situation.

There are a lot of things to look into.....
depending on your budget.

I know you asked for badger but keep your eye out for a
stippling brush or a stencil Brush at your local hobby and art stores.
I have seen some that have boar bristles that might
just work if you can find one at the right price.

Some pins and modern glue could add a broom stick/dowel
handle extension to a $7.95 VDH boar brush to good effect.

Another trick is face lathering. You can lock your wrist
and change the way your body interacts with the brush.
Also change out the lathering bowel to a more open soup
bowl or pint kitchen bowl to change your body geometry.

As always there are folk out there that make custom brushes.
I see Penworks in Arizon (Fountain Pen - Antique Pen - Vintage Pen - Fountain Pen Ink - Penworks AZ) has some
custom and near custom brushes with exotic handle designs
that look interesting. A phone call might get you a solution.
