It may not come off the hair, but you may see some shedding... All in all, I'd suspect that you'll be ok.
I must say though, that is one beautiful looking brush! Congrats.
Thanks, I will probably order another one soon. I don't remember the knot size of the first one I bought a while ago but it was far bigger than this one so I will try again, its not like having an extra brush or two, or three is bad, right

I can't see the epoxy on my phone screen, but it looks like a nice combination you got there.
I would say if it is a fillet of epoxy around the base it won't come off, and may break a few hairs where they are kinked by the epoxy; but if it is a skim on the "hairs" it depends on the epoxy used. If it is a flexible epoxy it could stay on the hair; a brittle epoxy could flake off as the hair is flexed and as it cures to a more brittle state or it can fuse strongly to the shaft and cause it to become brittle and break off.
That is one of the most beautiful handles I have seen. What is it made out of?
the picture doesnt have the glue, however most of it did come off when i used it the first time, which doesnt really give me to much faith in it holding the knot in for very long lol.
the handle is acrylic

Well done! You've inspired me, I'm going to have to make a top of the line badger brush. :hmmm:
