Actually,dealing in any animal products is a perplexing problem at times.
The currant laws are very good,most animals need to be protected from man.
But sometimes certain grps go a tad to far,A friend who deals in nothing but mammoth Ivory has had his house torched and his life threatened,why?
Exotic woods are very difficult to source these days,such as prime grade AAA ebony
martin Guitar, a steller decades old american Icon,one that employs actual americans has been told to leave the country if they continue to use exotic woods from certain countrys,is very perplexing,some reading if you have an interest in such things.

Ebay can be a pita when it comes to ivory and animal products for sure, as soon as you mention real ivory they think you went hunting in africa for elephant!!! and exotic woods is somewhat of a joke since its a renewable source but still needs management.
