That looks exactly like a plastic salsa bowl I just bought in the kitchen or home section at Wal-Mart.
That is an Old Spice mug, you can get them on ebay, and may be other palaces too
The mug appears to be an Old Spice shaving mug. Try eBay, yard sales, thrift shops, and flea markets. Almost any mug with straight sides, flat bottom, a 3 1/4 to 4 inch Id, and 2 1/2 to 3 inch height should work OK with hard pucks. (25.4 mm = 1 inch)
I Prefer ceramic mugs and check out pottery shops for decorative mugs.
I like 4 to 5 inch Id bowls for whipping up lather. Bowl sides should flair slightly towards the top to avoid banging the fingers. I like big loop handles to hold bowls.
You may need to grate or pare the sides of your puck to get it down to the mug bottom. I dislike getting my puck jammed part way to the bottom.
HTH
It called an Old Spice Shulton Shaving mug.
Have a look on eBay there is bound to be some on there.
As a matter of fact thats where i got mine
Best of luck
Josip
Also looks as if he was using the bottom of the mug to start lather:D
I have this same mug, purchased it last month in a "antique store" for $6. Fairly common in my neck of the woods. It has little ridges in the bottom to promote making lather, but I too use it to hold a puck of MWF. The mug I really want is the Fred Flinstone mug. IMO the best bowl for mixing lather is my scuttle from The Big Shave
Just search ebay for "old spice mug" there are tons of them. I plan on getting one as well
