Just thought I'd put these up for comment and critique.

Top to bottom, they are in black locust, spalted ambrosia maple, and cherry (sour cherry brush).
The knots are PCW 24 mm silvertip. The finish is poly over cherry Danish oil.
Thoughts?

Glad to see the handle length. So many of the commercial brushes have handle that, to me, are to short. The ones with longer handles seem to come with a huge knot. Like the sour cherry handle the best. If you make these to sell please PM me with a price and we can talk. Good work.

They look very nice. Will a puck fit inside ? I use a huge bowl now because I hate the clank clink clonk of hitting the sides. There is this thing about being up 3 hours before the rest of the house :<0) They are beautiful pieces of work.

The larger pucks will probably not fit. The i.d.s are roughly 2 & 3/4 inches, so they should fit a regular sized one. I do make them to be used.

Lovely. do you have smooth interiors, or ridges inside to help with the lathering process? Most of the modern bowls and mugs i see are smooth - i miss the old ridged ones.
Beautiful work.

There is some roughness inside, but that is more due to a little bit of intractable tear-out than any design consideration. Normally, I sand the interior down to 320, the exterior to 600, and the bottom down to 220 or 320 before applying finish.
