New brush build

Built this one for a co worker to his specs, with his knot!

Thanks all for your kind words. The material is a colorwood dyed laminate. I offset turned the block until it was almost round.
I then stabilized it myself. The funny thing was after stabilizing, it gained considerably in weight. I then finish turned the handle.
Sanding to 1500 grit. Sealed with a homemade sanding sealer. Then coating with 6 coats of polyurethane.
Funny thing about it and I didn't get any pictures, was when you turn it end for end like it was tumbling the handle will turn black at a certain point in the light. It was not by design but purely luck.

Great work Ray. I recently saw some one piece scales made out of a dyed laminate and they looked great. Maybe your friend needs a matching set:)

I have seen those laminates but had no idea they would look as great.
