First brush with a new Jet Lathe. Ebony and canary wood, was hoping to use boxwood so maybe next time. The badger is from the golden nib, high mountain white 22mm. Gotta get some more exotic wood!

I'd whip up some lather with that...

Here's my second attempt at brushes. Mahogany and 22 mm. silvertip badger, tung oil and a chrome ring around the knot.
Nice! I haven't tried tung oil, the finish looks very glossy. I might need to put that on my to try list.
The ring is a nice touch, can ask what you used to do that?
I love mahogany and have a brush Skipnord turned for me. The ring really adds to the effect.
:Like Chris, where did you get the ring?

Here is an Ebay link. I used the 7/8 ring to match the 22 mm knot. I scuffed the bottom of the ring so that the epoxy would adhere. Hope that helps. Kevin
