Spun this one this evening. Alternative Ivory, finest badger. I plan to stain it with tea, we'll see how that goes... Didn't measure my loft, but final height should be around 47mm

My absolute favorite style of brush handle and I have no less than 7 of these, 3 of which are custom turned.
Fantastic job and I cant wait to see it after you attempt to dye it. Please post up the result! I think these are very difficult to turn and have look good. Keeping the lines evenly spaced etc seems like it would be a true test of ones skill. You seem to have nailed it. I love this brush!
Thank you Jimmy! Appreciate the feedback. Used the few measurements I had to get it close, handle height and brush loft, the rest was by eye. I plan on trying to find a fabric dye hopefully close to butterscotch...haven't checked into it yet but fingers crossed that I can find something close....
Looks nice and fluffy!
Cheers.
Very nice. I love the classic look.
That is a very nice brush, congrats on your accomplishment! I am interested to see how the tea stain turns out. Keep use posted.
That's a true classic. It will be interesting to see it after the coloring is done.

I was going to start a search on what people were using to adhere the knots to the handle. Also, what size knot did you use?
