The mating of the two materials not in a straight line is outstanding.
Quite a feat of craftsmanship and beautiful to boot!

Lovely handle Chris! I really want to try some of this material, it's just so unique. Did you find any problems traversing from the resin to the wood?
That IS some pretty cool stuff. Turned out beautiful.
Awesome! Glad to see this. I had a similar idea about a new brush with wood an resin or acrylic. Wasn't sure if it could be done. Really like that the lines are offset. Great stuff
Looks great!
I'm having a razor made with Shokwood for scales.

Have yet to try this material in a project. Maybe with some more experience. Pretty cool blanks though.
Very beautiful handle! Nice job!
Amazing
Very well done
Thanks! I did not find any problems going from either material as long as your ready for the transition. The resin is feels a bit "softer" when cutting, so you have to watch your pressure. Beautiful material, I should have posted pic's so you guy's could see all the nodes of the burl poking into the resin, just neat!
Have to make a correction, I called this Shokwood, but I believe it is called ShokRes - I think BWP has a few different trade mark names. From what I can tell it has something to do with the configuration of the blank?
that is something to look at!! you did a great job with it tc
In going to have to learn how to make brushes next. That's pretty cool.
Great job buddy- I never got real comfortable with the resin yet. It'll be months before my lathe gets back into commission. I'm itchin though...
