Hi Guys I'm waiting on these two both unused can anyone tell me how would this knot perform and would it be worth keeping it or maybe sending the brush out to have the knot replaced with another Boar I would like to know what you think?

Since they are unused, I would put them on display as collector pieces,,, then buy a modern boar.

Cool brush and razor! Clean the brush and give it a go. It might be great!
TGN has some great boar knots, FME.

Eveready was a mass market producer so I would guess it's a basic brush. It's in the gets the job done category. You'll see how well preserved it is.

Unused vintage brushes(with tag still attached) don't come around everyday,,, yes there is a temptation to try it, I would be tempted,,, but it would look nice in a display case for visitors to see & handle,,, just my opinion,,,

I have a ever ready C40 that belonged to my farther and since have found 2 more that was new unused and they all do very well. I will say the older on seems to feel better. I guess because i'm really use to it.

Some of them dried out really badly. If a single or couple hairs break off when bent against the handle then it is a wall hanger or re-knot.
Some of them were mixed boar in the center and badger around the out side for pretty.
My take is so pretty and collectable. And probably won't be a good shaving brush.

I would leave them alone and use them to display they would be more impressive displaying them rather than putting them to use. Just my 2 cents.
