Wood from the yard
Had to have some tree work done in the yard. Removed a dying Apple, Ash and trimmed a 120 YO oak.
With all the rain around here lately I've been able to spend some quality time on the lathe and made use of some of the wood.

Love your off-center handles! That oak is pretty cool, grain direction choice was a good one.

I don't have wood like that in my backyard.

Love the cut, and the grain on that Oak especiallly, although they are all really sharp!
Nice work.

All 3 are great. That off centre stuff is tricky but you seem to have it down real nice. Excellent work!

Very nice work on all three of those! I especially love the grain in the oak, very impressive

Agree with Ernie. That sort of sunburst grain pattern on the oak is really something. At first, I thought the apple was from an ash tree as I have seen two-tone ash like that before. Very nice work.

Great looking brushes all three
