My first brush I ever bought was a Col. Conks black badger brush (Vulfix.) Last year it started to shed badly, to the point the hairs were falling out in chunks. So I pitched it. Ever since I've really missed that brush. Some consider these black badgers brushes as bottom of the barrel, I for one really enjoy them. They are great for hard soaps, and give a scritch that I really enjoy.
So, I decided to make myself one to replace the old. This is a TGN 24mm black badger set to 49mm loft. I was actually surprised at how dense this knot is, has a lot of hairs packed in there. Had a chance to use it this morning and it was just excellent. Enjoyed everything about it, except the smell of course, and will probably be reaching for this one for a while.
Thanks for looking Gentleman. Sorry for no action shots.
