Handle Styled after Tobacco Pipes

New style I am working on, this was just a trial piece. I plan to do one out of Briar at some point, just wanted to work on technique with a cheaper wood first(walnut if ya can't tell). Made to resemble a old fashioned rusticated tobacco pipe. I think it will end up getting a fan knot. Once again I have some lead shot glued in to weight the handle, I really like the feel of this. It still needs a bit of polishing, but you get the idea.

Thanks everyone, just finally ordered a 24mm TGN Two Band Finest in a Fan knot for it. It will be set about 20mm deep to make this thing an amazing face latherer.

Great job. Love the rustic look.
Most vintage pipes were made to fit the hand, and should make excellent models for shaving brush handle.
Take an old pipe and hold in your hand and feel the form.
Personally I have been thinking of a handle that is made from sandblasted briar.
