I love the color of the bottom pic.
Nice work, I agree with AcesandEights, that bottom one is a great colour choice.
Very well done indeed!
Very nice, you can definitely see the classical stringed instrument style in the design.
What is the material exactly?
Great handle shape, and I really like both materials. Great work.
Terrific shades, and curves to both sets.
Nicely turned sir..
:chapeau
Thanks for for all kind words. The handles are made of hand poured polyester resin.
Got to say, I'd be happy with either of them. Great job
Yeah man these are great! My dad is a violin player and also a wet shaver. He would definitely dig these. Awesome work.
Very nice, I think anyone here would love those for their collection.
I love this. Looks great.
Roger
I like the second one too. That being said, I wonder how much better it'd look with less pronounced ridges.
Another Violin. Gold, blue and black this time.

Her comes another one. Which knot looks better with that handle, badger or synthetic?
Attachment 281518
I'd have to say the Badger sets off and compliments the handle colors very nicely.
You've really made some very fine brushes sir :tu
Thanks :beer1:
That's one and the same handle with two different knots :) We'll figure out something if you want to be my tester :)
Just trying to emphasize that the same handle look so different with different knots that the untrained eye mistakes them for completely different brushes! (bet you don't buy that bull)
Definitely the badger brings out the color better, the synthetic blends in too much with the handle and makes the color look flatter and more washed out. Beautiful handles and nice turning!
