| Results: A memorial lane shave today, got this NOS Bali stick in the mail today, which is the same soap one of my grandfathers used. It's been out of production since 1979, so there was not much scent left, but thanks to the plastic wrapping there was still a hint of the scent I remembered. To my surprise it buildt a very nice and slick lather which gave a wonderful shave, taking my time and letting the scent take me 30 years back in time. The Wacker gave a fantastic shave, no sign of the slight roughness I felt yesterday. Finished of with Mennen aftershave, which was the AS my other grandfather used as long as I can remember. A perfect shave in every possible way, bringing out some nice memories of both my late grandfathers. |
