August 2021 Giveaway!
To all who want to join in on the fun of our Giveaway... Be sure to read the rules of our monthly giveaway.
They can be found in the Contests and Giveaways Thread.
The August 2021 Giveaway will start now and run through Midnight on the 17th. On the 18th a winner will be chosen and notified, then the “Winner's Thread” will be started.
Prizes:
1. I personally don’t know what to make of the name on this razor. I will say it was honed by Outback/Mike and it gives a great shave. On the blade, it's marked 3RB, Aden Arabia, 1905. And on the tang, it has 5 letters in boxes… VOOGD.
It’s a round tip, 13/16, and full hollow. I’d steal it for myself if I thought I could get away with it. LOL.
2. A tub of Bergamot & Lavender, made by Grooming Dept.
3. A bottle of Design. Cologne for men.

I have seen VOOGD razors before, but haven’t found out much about the manufacturer. They’ve been around a while - I did find a copy of an old advertisement that included them.
Aden was a British protectorate from the late 1800’s until around 1965, so the razor might bave been a military razor in use by a member of the British forces at the time.David

I think it's 3 Royal Battalion and as mentioned, Aden was part of British India/The British East India Company until 1905.
