I recently read At Home by Bill Bryson. It had a chapter about plumbing with details about construction of sewers in London.
Alone Against the Atlantic by Gerry Spiess with Marlin Bree. An OK read with a good story. A good use of the porch on a Thursday evening.
I'm half way thru Greg Iles latest Penn Cage novel called Natchez burning.
Iles writes easy going and entertaining crime/legal thrillers.
Good summertime reads.
